We’ve chosen a new venue which offers the best Ibiza vibe due to its lay-out and we’ve got 3 Ibiza residents bringing their authenticity to the event. This line-up is exclusive to SP & it incorporates 3 of the most respected resident Djs from the island. Saturday 14th February, we'll have all 4 rooms going off, each with its own theme & music style. SP will once again give you the total musical journey that made us unbeatable at Turnmills. Throughout this year, you will see lots of new Djs gracing the SP decks, starting with February's headliner STEVE MAC. Steve is an amazing producer & song writer with a CV to die for i.e. 78 consecutive top 20 singles & he's been associated with 136 top 40 singles & albums (quite impressive in any ones books). His last big hit PADDYS REVENGE in October 2008 peaked at number 17 in the UK and Pete Tong creamed over it!
Also making his SP debut in February is top up & coming producer TIMO GARCIA. Timo has been a friend for many years, but we never managed to configure dates & diaries to bring him in on a main room set. But that's all about to change, as he brings his unique sold to Scala, where I'm sure he'll be dropping his latest tune DRIVING OLIVIA to entertain you all.
Next we welcome the HEYGORGEOUS ALL STARS more newbies to the SP camp, who will be entertaining you alongside our amazing & ever loyal residents, so you can be sure this will be a night that will really deliver. So whats new this month?...
Starting
with the first room, changing the dynamics of the room
yet again, we will be moving the position of the Dj booth
to a more intimate position & enforcing a funky house & club
classics music policy, for all of you who have been crying
out for this. Djs gracing the decks in this room will
be birthday boy Groove Establishment, Peter Dee, Ramone,
Chris Biscuit, Rob White & more.
The second floor (main room) starts the night with a
live PA (10pm - 12.30am) by BASE MOSQUITO. Base Mosquito
use live productions, keyboards, flute, vocals, percussion,
cutting edge effects and the latest technology to screw
the minds of their audience. Ret (live production, key
boards, flute effects, backing vocals), Jules (vocals,
effects, samples) and Jay (percussion) tailor each unique
experience according to time, location, ambience and
crowd reaction to send intense musical energy to the
very souls of their audience.
Following Base Mosquitos live performance, steps in
THE IBIZA LEGENDSs, starting with Mambo resident PAUL
DAREY. PAUL has been DJing for over 15 years and he has
held residencies everywhere from New York to Barcelona
to the legendary CAFE MAMBO in Ibiza. Having been an
Ibiza favorite for many years, he has played alongside
some of the biggest names in House Music including Roger
Sanchez, Erick Morillo, David Morales, Paul Oakenfold,

Alex completed his 5th year as resident Dj at BORA-BORA
this year, as well as continued residencies at Salvacion
El Divino, Xtravaganza Privilege and guest spots at numerous
other parties around the Island. Amongst all this he
somehow managed to squeeze into his packed schedule weekend
gigs around the world in places like Serbia, Italy, Norway,
Bali and Abu Dhabi to name just a few.
Joining ALEX MILES is PRIVILEGE and EL DIVINO resident
DAVID HERERRA. David has become one of Spain's best known
exports, over the years he has played in every super
club in Ibiza alongside some of the biggest names. Like
Paul Darey & Alex Miles he has also played around
the world at some of the worlds most desirable clubs.
Backing up the Ibiza legends are SPs long standing & ever
loyal resident Djs CARLOS FRANCISCO, MATTY WELLS and
not forgetting TRACE on his percussion/fx and the super
sexy SP dancers.
Moving upstairs to the Glass Room, you will find Upfront
House in its purest form, brought to you by 3D music,
Stevie T, Master G, Lee Rands & Chrissy Maranello.
Following the red stairs up to its final floor (4th
floor), you will find yourself in another vast space
which has yet to be chrissened by the SP crowd. This
room will feature all things House brought to you by
Dj Jason Chance, Twisted Sounds, Jimmy Lee & John
Slater.

So what's new this month?...
Starting with the first room, changing the dynamics
of the room yet again, we'll be moving the position of
the Dj booth to a more intimate position & enforcing
a funky house & club classics music policy, for all
of you who have been crying out for this. Djs
gracing the decks in this room will be birthday boy Groove Establishment,
Peter Dee, Ramone, Chris Biscuit, Rob White...
The second floor (main room) starts the night with a
live PA (10pm – 12.30am) by Base Mosquito. Base Mosquito
use live productions, keyboards, flute, vocals, percussion,
cutting edge effects and the latest technology to screw
the minds of their audience. Ret (live production,
key boards, flute effects, backing vocals), Jules (vocals,
effects, samples) and Jay (percussion) tailor each unique
experience according to time, location, ambience and crowd
reaction to send intense musical energy to the very souls
of their audience.
Following Base Mosquito's live performance, steps in
THE IBIZA LEGENDSs, starting with Mambo resident PAUL DAREY. PAUL
has been DJ'ing for over 15 years and he has held residencies
everywhere from New York to Barcelona to the legendary
CAFE MAMBO in Ibiza. Having been an Ibiza favorite for
many years, he has played alongside some of the biggest
names in House Music including Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo,
David Morales, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong etc, in Ibiza's
best clubs Space, Pacha, El Divino etc.

SMARTIE PARTIE @ SCALA is destined to become the number
one night in London. Now with "The End" also
closing soon, there is no better venue than Scala to keep
London at the Top of the Clubbing World. In fact when Mr
C (The End's owner) debuted @ SP Scala he was so blown
away by what is easily the best main room in London and
he cant wait to come back.
But Saturday 13th September is all about PAUL JACKSON.
Underwater Paul, not only is he a legend amongst the SP
family but he's been behind the decks for over 12 years
and has Dj'd in over 50 countries, as well as been producing
successful tracks for well over 6yrs. He's held residencies
at Amnesia (Ibiza) The Cross (London), Ministry of Sound
(London), Madrid, Valencia and has played regularly in
all of the UK's leading clubs as well as tours for dance
music's leading labels and media outlets - including Subliminal,
Defected, Radio 1 and MTV. Paul has also been a lead player
on Underwater's world tours, which gave him regular slots
at The End, sets at Pacha, Ibiza ... including the closing
parties, the 5 Days Off festival in Amsterdam and Dance
Valley festival in Rotterdam and gigs throughout the UK
and Europe. But now Paul returns to his favourite ever
London party ... SMARTIE PARTIE!
Paul will be playing alongside SP's favourite female Dj
LISA GERMAN. Lisa, with eleven years experience and a technical
ability as a DJ second to none, she's gained a reputation
as one of the scene's true professionals as clubbers from
DTPM, The Gallery, Heaven & Trade will happily testify.
Lisa has also seen plenty of overseas action: Centro in
Singapore, a year long residency at Club Q in Zurich and
trips to France, Poland, Romania, Brazil, Dubai, Peru and
Australia.
Followed with young guns TWISTED SOUNDS, long term resident
MATTY WELLS and of course TRACE on percussion/fx alongside
the sexy SP dancers, its guaranteed you are in for an amazing
night. With diverse music spread over all the floors, this
will be a true FESTIVAL OF HOUSE!

Very few things can match up to a SMARTIE BOAT PARTY
its often compared to NYE and that pretty much does sum
it up. Just 250 wonderful like-minded sexy SP people,
all cruising up & down the Thames taking in possibly
the best views anywhere in the world and thats without
even mentioning the Music! Which we must admit we always
get the music spot on (well the Dj's do). I would compare
the music to SP @ Bora-Bora. Proper Party Music, everyone
is buzzing from the errrrm vibe, that these unique SP
parties create! Its just so friendly and after 4 hours
on the boat, as we pull into Swan Pier everyone switches
to land-mode & our FREE AFTER PARTY is just 5 mins
walk from the pier, were we carry on till 6am.

SMARTIE PARTIE continue our onslaught to return some
of the lost creditability London has lost in the Clubland
World. By this we mean there are so many hit & miss
nights in London. People are still wondering round lost
(remember when you ALWAYS knew where you were going weeks
before). Well SMARTIE PARTIE has never let its crowd
old & new down in the 12+ years we have been entertaining
London Town.
Saturday 9th August despite at least 200/300 SP Family
in Ibiza, loads more on holidays, torrential rain and
Kings Cross Tube restricted for a security alert... we
still managed to pull of a great party and re-assure
ourselves and you guys, that Scala is the place for SP.
We have total faith in this vast 4 room venue, with a
main room that never fails to blow people away.
The option to put on an Ibiza style show in there every
Month is just so exciting for us and every month you
will see it change and evolve into a SPace that no other
party will come close to matching. Saturday 13th September
with this in mind, we are taking SP to the next Level...
We will be bringing back a few of our SP/Turnmills Legends
that made SP unbeatable at our old Residency. Beginning
with Underwater legend PAUL JACKSON. Paul will be joining
the best main room in London alongside SP favourite LISA
GERMAN (best female Dj on the planet), Young Guns: Twisted
Sounds (look out for their SP Live CD soon) and of course
long term residents CARLOS FRANCISCO (the Barcelona boy),
MATTY WELLS and TRACE on his Percussion/gizmos and the
sexy SP Tour dancers.
The night will also feature the Get Twizted Boys making
their SP debut alongside new talent Fake who will be
playing Funky Electro House. And not forgetting our unbeatable
